one garden shredder

As a rule, a large amount of bark, branches, leaves are formed on the garden plot, which many people burn. But burning is often dangerous — the fire can spread throughout the site and even go to neighboring allotments. And there is a fine for damaging someone else’s property. By the way, the rules for burning are also regulated: for example, a place for lighting an open fire should be in a pit at least 30 cm deep and 1 m in diameter.

Many summer residents put branches, leaves, the remains of bark and cones into a compost pit, but it takes a long time for them to decompose there. This is where a garden shredder can come in handy, which, as the name implies, helps to shred garden debris, reduce the volume of the compost pit and speed up the process of compost formation, which can then be used for fertilizer.

2 watering timer

The timer is somewhat reminiscent of a counter — a device that is installed in almost every one of us in the apartment. The garden water timer allows you to set the right time to start and stop the water supply, thus controlling watering and reducing the amount of water used. Such a timer works like a shut-off valve — on the one hand it is connected to the pipe, and on the other — to the hose through which watering is performed.

There are mechanical and electronic timers, the latter also with program control, which includes several types of programs — they can be set to water different crops at different times.

3 Sandals for aeration

Aeration is required at least once a year for the soil and lawn to provide oxygen to the roots of the plants. To do this, you can use ordinary pitchforks that pierce the ground, aerators, or get special sandals for aeration — shoe covers that you just need to put on and walk across the lawn. It’s both fun and useful at the same time. However, if you have a special aerator device, then sandals will no longer be useful.

four fruit picker

It is also called a fruit picker. There are several types of devices for different purposes: picking berries from bushes, picking fruits from trees or from the ground. In any case, they simplify the process, since you do not often have to bend down in the process of picking up fallen apples, or, for example, apricots. And picking berries from the bushes becomes faster.

5 weed remover

Weeds are a headache for any gardener, but they have to be fought. You can do this with chemicals, which is quite dangerous for other crops that grow on the site. Then you have to dig the weeds by hand. A weed remover can make this process easier — roughly speaking, it is a stick with a handle and sharp tips that go into the ground and help to get a harmful plant from the root. Although the device is found in different types: there are small removers that fit in the hand, but long ones are still more convenient.

6 cordless scissors

With garden shears, it is easy to give the correct shape to bushes, cut grass, hedges. The most convenient are battery models that speed up the process and can work without electrical power and a connected cord. There are devices of different sizes: with a long handle or a short one.
